After graduating I started working at Ghent University. I give courses on ship motions induced by waves. I assist students on their master thesis as well.
As scientific employee I work at Flanders Hydraulics Research Currently I am project engineer on an elaborated research on Bank Effects. Tests conducted in a towing tank are being carried out to create a huge data set. In the past, most of my research was done on the Full Bridge Ship Maneuvering Simulator.
